At the beginning of October, I traveled to Los Angeles, California to attend the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo. My sister Bella met me in LA and we got to do some fun sightseeing. Here are some highlights from our trip:
The U.S. Green Building Council‘s annual Greenbuild International Conference and Expo wrapped up October 7 in Los Angeles, California. The question I have been asked most about Greenbuild is, “What are some highlights from the conference?”
Before I get to my three highlights, let me first explain the background of the conference. Greenbuild is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. For this annual conference, the green building community gathers to share ideals and mutual passions about sustainability, energy efficiency and of course green building.
How did we get here? I have arrived in our nation’s capital! The cross-country road trip consisted of over 2000 miles in the car with my boyfriend John, our dog Miso, and our cat Senator Tinker; all while pulling a 4’x8′ trailer full of our life possessions. Read more
